The Okavango is an African river, which rises in Angola in an area fairly rainy, and after a journey of nearly 1,000 km enters a endorheic basin, in Botswana, where it has formed a large region aluvional improperly called and known throughout the world as the Okavango Delta.

Thus, the Okavango Delta is an unusual case of Delta, in the sense that this river flows into the sea.
